This time it looks like a hardware fault.
All the memory tests I've run show faulty memory. I'll replace the RAM.

Spot the Mistake

Those in the know will notice the filter has been fitted on the output side of the pump. Apart from the fact that the pump is not being protectyed from particles this should not be an issue. However, the pump is just strong enough to break the transparent cover on the filter housing. It takes it about a week to make it crack.
