Pump Replumbed
Here it is replumbed. The filter is now on the correct side of the pump. This should prevent the cover from cracking again.
The canal at Blisworth is frozen over, like so many other locations. These look like swan footprints on the ice.
And an old resident of the Blisworth area has returned:

Ahhh! I always recognise Bordesley when I come past this stretch! The way you recognise certain lies of the land and particular marinas/boats/buildings, I'm sure you know what I mean! Bordesley is a particular favourite of mine I have to say, and I always smile when I cruise past her. Good to know she's holding out through the winter weather!
